Luxurious guest rooms impart a cozy, comfy environment. The four-poster beds are made of elegantly carved hardwood; the Frette linens that dress them are soft and cool. There's an old-world opulence here, but it doesn't feel like your prim great-aunt's place - white walls, abundant natural light and modern overstuffed sofas keep the atmosphere light and airy.
Private bathrooms now offer personal steam rooms, heated marble floors and couple-sized Jacuzzis, but the tubs are still the centerpiece, and they date back to the late 1800s.
